The RAC Pylon is ideal for interacting with vehicle drivers in any number of situations that require a streamlined and efficient transaction, identification, or communication exchange. The driver is easily able to adjust the height and horizontal positioning of the instrumentation package, which locks securely into position when the handle is released for hands off convenience. Available instrumentation for the device include magnetic stripe readers for identification, credit or debit card transactions. Camera for identification, image capture and a microphone / speaker arrangement for two way communication. Printers allow the presentation of receipts. Possible deployments include quick service, weigh station, security, parking.
