Maintenance of passenger rail equipment made safer with cloud-based manuals

Bombardier has partnered with The Kiosk Factory to develop a unique program designed to eliminate version control issues during searches of maintenance manuals. Called "Sentio", the program is the centrepiece of an effort to leverage technology and expert systems to cut maintenance costs and improve reliability.

The kiosks developed for the program are based on the MinMod modular platform and function as the "Home Base" for all maintenance planning activities. Features include docking stations for tablets, large-format printing capability and multiple physical access levels.
